CFO/Finance

The Chief Financial Officer and the finance office staff administer the financial and business operations of Phillips Exeter Academy.  Although elected as an officer of the trustees, the CFO is an administrative officer who reports to the principal.  The finance office oversees the planning and control of many of Exeter’s financial, human, and physical resources.  They work with faculty, administrators, and trustees to ensure that the future allocation of resources will correspond with the strategic plans of the Academy, and that the use of resources is efficient and effective.

The CFO’s staff consists of the executive officer, financial analyst and executive assistant.  Reporting departments include Accounting, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Dining Services.
