Boys Tennis: 2008 Season Roundup
The boys A tennis team ended with a disappointing record of 3 and 8. This record is somewhat misleading as four of their losses were by the narrow margin of 4 to 3. Twice they came within a few games of upsetting Andover, a team that finished the regular season with only one loss. The varsity B team finished with an impressive record of 9 and 2, including a 7-0 whitewash of Andover in the season's final match.
Some of the individual highlights include James Ying's '09 impressive singles record of 8 and 2, as well as the 7 and 4 record posted by the first doubles team of Mark Coutin '08 paired with either Sterling Hedderich '09 or Janusz Wojcik '08.
The prospects for next season look good as eleven of the top 14 players are returning.
