The Grill

The Grill at the Academy Center

Located on the ground floor of the new Academy Center, the Grill has become a meeting place for students, faculty and staff.

The menu consists of favorite foods prepared to order. Grilled hamburgers, fresh sandwiches and salads are available, as well as delectable bakery goods, some from the Academy's bakery and some baked right in the Grill's kitchen. All sandwiches are made on homemade bread. Seasonal fresh fruits are always available, as well as sushi and other items reflecting local, national and international tastes.

Coffee is always freshly brewed, and a variety of teas and other beverages ranging from water to organic sodas to Naked Juices are also available.

The Grill's pizza, made to order in two sizes with our Bakery's homemade organic whole wheat dough, can be ordered ahead for pickup.

In addition, The Grill serves as a mini Convenience Store where students can stock up on favorite snacks for a later pick-me-up. Amy's organic frozen entrees, Sahale Snacks, and organic Maine root beer and sarsaparilla are a few examples of healthy  items available.  Health and beauty aids, some organic, can also be purchased. 

Sustainability is built into the Grill's operations. Disposables are all  biodegradable "Green Ware" and cleaning supplies are chlorine-free and contain no ingredients that might contribute to stratospheric ozone depletion, to minimize adverse environmental impact.

Furnished with artwork by students and tables with the Academy logo, the eating area is truly a welcoming stop in a busy day, and there is almost always someone sitting in the dining area, studying, relaxing, or watching news and sports events.

No Class Saturdays
2:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.

Sunday
5:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
