Chess Club
The Exeter Chess Club offers a forum for people to meet, discuss, and play chess. Our principal activity consists of playing chess every Sunday. We provide boards and pieces for recreational play at all meetings. The club also acts as a resource for those interested in learning chess. We plan to offer intramural and interscholastic chess tournaments, chess information, and lectures. All levels of play are welcome from novices to experts. Adviser: Mr. Chen

Go (or Wei Chi or Baduk)
Go (or Wei Chi or Baduk) is the most ancient and sophisticated board game in the world. The rules for play are simple and yet can give rise to situations of great complexity. World leaders in this game have come from Japan, Korea and China (and now America) so this is also a truly international game. Come see what all the fuss is about! All students are welcome, from beginners to professional dan players. Some instruction will be given in concepts such as Ko, ladders and snapbacks, and Life-and-Death configurations. Boards and stones will be available for play. Adviser: Mr. Ibbotson
