Have questions? Ask the Nutritionist
Pamela Stuppy is a registered dietitian who serves as the Exeter nutritionist. She is available as a resource for students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni/ae. In her role at Health Services students can make nutritional counseling appointments to discuss issues related to food allergies, athletes and nutrition, vegetarian eating, or general eating concerns. Ms Stuppy also meets regularly with athletic teams, offering information about eating and hydration for peak performance.
Nutritional Services are free of charge and covered under the Health and Wellness Fee.
Ms. Stuppy works closely with Dining Services as an adviser. She meets weekly with Executive Chef Pat Brideau to review upcoming revisions of the Daily Menus to assess nutritional value, balance and healthy preparation of food choices. She meets with the Director of Dining Services to discuss the nutritional value of new products such as the organic milks, choices of breads, and snack and protein choices used in the recently upgraded box lunch program. She is always available to answer questions and provide guidance on a wide range of issues.
