Participating Districts
Since its inception, more than 2,500 public school mathematics teachers from 16 different United States school districts (or consortia of districts) have participated in the Exeter Mathematics Institute. In the past 16 years, EMI workshops have been offered to teachers from the following districts:
Baltimore City Public Schools (Baltimore, MD), Broward County School District (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Chicago Public School District (Chicago, IL), Dade County School District (Miami, FL), Dallas Independent School District (Dallas, TX), DeKalb County School District (outside of Atlanta, GA), Denver Public Schools (Denver, CO), Fort Worth Independent School District (Fort Worth, TX, and cities of Arlington, Mansfield and Grand Prairie, TX), Houston Independent School District (Houston, TX and Katy, TX), Las Vegas City School District (Las Vegas, NV), Memphis City Schools (Memphis, TN), Newark School District (Newark, NJ), Phoenix Union High School District (Phoenix, AZ), San Antonio Independent School District (San Antonio, TX), San Diego Public Schools (San Diego, CA) and the State of Connecticut.
